The goal of the project is the identification of structural damages in building and civil structure after an earthquake using video acquired by drone. The proposed activities are:
- 3D model elaboration for the creation of a semi-synthetic dataset containing images of damages to be used to train a neural network
- Damage detection using deep neural network architectures (e.g., YOLO)
- Bounding box tracking in a video sequence to filter the results of the detection

The goal of the project is the development of algorithms for the reconstruction of destroyed frescoes. The proposed activities are:
- Extend the DAFNE dataset (a large collection of hundreds of thousands of images of fresco fragments artificially generated) implementing new type of fragmentation and alterations
- Development of algorithms for image reconstruction from fragments

The project involves the analysis of original manuscripts written by Alessandro Manzoni using multispectral images (visible, IR, UV). The proposed activities are:
- Image enhancement of faded and smudged pages to improve the readability of writings
- Remove corrections/deletions to show the underlying text
