> 🚨 PhD Opportunity in France – Fully Funded (MSCA Doctoral Network)
Our colleagues in Paris-Saclay are looking for a motivated candidate to join the UNVEIL Doctoral Network for a 3-year fully funded PhD in Information Science at the intersection of AI, imaging, and cultural heritage.
Project title: Uncertainty-aware multimodal learning for pigment mapping: joint X-Ray Fluorescence & Hyperspectral data fusion
📍 Location: Paris & Gif-sur-Yvette (France)
Hosted by CNRS/C2RMF in collaboration with Université Paris-Saclay and international partners
đź’ˇ What you will work on:
Multimodal data fusion (X-ray fluorescence & hyperspectral imaging); Machine learning and deep learning for material identification; Development of uncertainty-aware models for cultural heritage analysis; Applications to paintings and 3D artworks.
